A tribute to my favorite Maho Bay palm tree! With another anniversary of hurricane Irma behind us I’ve been reminiscing of pre-Irma St. John. These backgrounds are created with salt inspired by St. John’s very own salt pond. Each sign is a hand-crafted mixed media creation on metal.
Materials: Gold Leaf, Mother of Pearl Shell, Salt, Paint and fabric woven hangers. Fabric is the salvage from my line of home decor. I’m always looking for a use for those scraps!
